APTEKA 2019 exhibition completed its work

The 26th International Specialized Exhibition “APTEKA-2019” has completed its work in Moscow. This landmark event took place on 2-5 December 2019 in Expocentre Fairgrounds within the Russian Healthcare Week.

“APTEKA 2019” represented 130 companies from 12 countries and 36 Russian regions. The trade visitors received information on pharmaceutical and medical products manufactured in Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Germany, Jordan, Italy, India, Poland, Thailand and Japan.

In addition to the regular “APTEKA” exhibitors: Borisov Medical Preparations Plant, Fitosila, 1S-Rarus, Arnebia, Firn-M, who participate in the show for many years, there were newcomers who presented their products and services at APTEKA for the first time: 3 INT Consulting, Biotek, Center for Pharmaceutical Communications, DenRiCo International, Donaseptika, Sangar-M, Gazelli Group (Azerbaijan), Hatakabb (Thailand), Laboratoire L’Ideal Parisien “(Poland), Rohto Mentholatum (Japan),” Milan Arzneimittel (Italy).

The Russian manufacturers were extensively represented at the exhibition. Biotek, Biokor, Lekker, Appolo, Bio Long Life, Biotekfarm, ITs-23, Intertekstil, Roksi, Ruskaps, Sangar-M, Farm-Produkt, Farmakor Production participated at the exhibition this year.

Altai Biopharmaceutical Cluster organized a consolidated stand, demonstrating the regions’ companies and drug manufacturers: Alkor, Malavit, Alteya, Balzam, Pantoproject, Dve linii, Yug, Zdorovaya Semya Sibir, FZ Galen, Altamar, Altayskiy buket, Farm-Produkt.

The collective stand of Tomsk region represented products and services of Biolit and NTM companies. The pharmaceutical industry of the Republic of Crimea was represented by Laboratory of Beauty and Health “Pantika” and “Morskaya Apteka”. The manufacturers of the Republic of Belarus were represented by Borisov Medical Preparations Plant, Minskintercaps Plant, Lekpharm Plant and Rubicon.

A wide geography of manufacturers and distributors confirms the high efficiency of APTEKA exhibition. Due to the modern organization approach, a wide variety of demonstrated products, and the well-designed programme of business events, the show is very popular among visitors from Moscow and the Russian regions. According to preliminary data, APTEKA 2019 was visited by 5287 specialists from Kaliningrad to Khabarovsk.

All three exhibition days were very eventful. The International Business Medical and Pharmaceutical Forum “Pharmacy 2.0: Growth Vectors” started its work on the first exhibition day right after the official opening ceremony with a plenary section on topical issues of drug circulation. Industry representatives and experts discussed the future changes related to the introduction of price regulating mechanism of medical products. Development strategies of pharmacy chains and measures to maintain the margin of this business were considered at a panel session of pharmacy chains. It was emphasized that representatives of the sector are concerned about the commercial drug market reduction for the first time since 2016. According to experts, the reasons are the real incomes decrease and increased VAT.

On the second exhibition day there were some interesting discussions focused on the development of telemedicine, the search for professional personnel, the automation of pharmacy chain management, the ways of pharmacy chains promotion online and digitally.

A business school for digital marketing for pharmacy chains worked within APTEKA exhibition. The Jordanian pharmaceutical concern “Beit Jala” introduced its HiGeen cosmetic brand. The Center for Pharmaceutical Communications spoke about new IT technologies for promoting pharmaceutical products and ways to increase profitability for pharmacy chains. A report on modern digital tools was made by Pharma Global experts. Design-Vector presented their vision of the Pharmacy of the Future. Experts from Etalon-Garant spoke about their services for protecting medical and pharmaceutical organizations.

This year for the first time meetups were organized during APTEKA exhibition. They received excellent reviews from the participants. Drug manufacturers and pharmacy chains representatives had a chance to meet personally and reach important agreements.

APTEKA has obtained the status of UFI Approved Event, and is held under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
